December is on the way! Kindred Matters is excited to offer a twist to our typical KINnect events for the holiday season. We know with winter break and all of the winter activities that scheduling can be difficult. We are so appreciative of families for taking the time to get siblings together this time of year and we would love to support you in that. For the month of December, we are offering multiple options for sibling connection during the holidays.
Please read through ALL of the details and let us know if you have any questions. There are about 30 spots available.
Who: These events are free and for siblings living separately. Transporting providers are invited to bring other youth who they are providing direct care for.
What: To register a sibling group we will need the following information. Please make sure all information is communicated in order to participate. You can email Patrick at KINnectpdx@gmail.com.
Name of youth in your care that is living separately from their sibling(s)
Age/Birthday
Name and contact information for provider including email and phone number
Name of sibling(s)
Name of sibling(s) provider
Name and contact information for sibling groups caseworker if applicable
Names and ages of additional youth in providers household that will be attending.
When: We ask that you communicate between siblings' families to find a day and time that works for the siblings to get together and for quality time together. Please have the siblings select one activity for your group.
Once we have heard from all parties confirming the above information Kindred Matters will purchase and send you tickets for the activity. Please allow at least 48 business hours prior to the activity to receive your tickets. The sooner you can communicate with us, the better.

Why: Kindred Matters feels strongly about siblings and their connection. We would like to help facilitate quality time for siblings living separately in the month of December in a manner that fits everyone's schedule.
